NEW: Quadra Island Health Hub

A great new resource for Islanders in this local area is now available online. Check out the Quadra Island Health Hub

Their mission:

The Quadra Island Health Society and our community partners believe that connecting our community’s resources wherever possible will enhance our island community and promote overall well-being. By linking individuals and organizations with valuable resources and services, we can better identify and address the needs of our residents, any potential gaps that may exist, and work to create a more supportive environment for all. These resources include health services, wellness and quality of life programs, senior support, food security initiatives, job training programs, mental health services, educational opportunities, and more.

Our objective is to share resources, making them more easily accessible and well-coordinated so people can receive the help they need to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Moreover, connecting community resources can foster collaboration among different groups, leading to more effective and sustainable solutions to social issues. By uniting and leveraging our strengths, we, as a community, can create a more resilient and supportive environment for everyone. Through our efforts, we hope to foster a sense of unity and compassion within our community and help everyone feel more connected and supported during these challenging times.
